Pasang Lhamu peak 7351m...
Pasang Lhamu Sherpa was born and groomed with the
snow ridge, finally carried her dream, courage, commitment
to the top of the world Mt. Everest and feel into
the deep sleep having rest from the tiredness in the
lap of the Mt. Everest that was the day of 23rd April
1993.
Pasang Lahmu raised the national flag on the top with
the pride and prestige of the country. She got an
identity of first Nepalese woman to ever bid the record
and she was honored by His Majesty's Government of
Nepal.
In her loving memory the Government of Nepal named
Jasamba Peak; a vergin Peak as " Pasang Lhamu
Peak" in the year 1995 which lies in the Khumbu
region on the Tibetan border line of Nangpa La very
close to Mt. Cho Oyu.
After it's opening by the Government Pasang Lhmau
Peak was first offcially permitted in October 1996
for two Teams like Japanese and French Expedition
which was successfully scaled by both the Teams. Sumitted
by French Team Arnaud Guillaume , Remi Thivel , Jangbu
Sherpa, Tshiring Dorje Sherpa and Phur Gyalgen Sherpa
on October 20th , 1996.
