Please allow me take this opportunity to introduce www.namasteadventure.com, a mountaineering, trekking and biking expedition company based in Kathmandu, Nepal, most recently recommended by Lonely Planet: Trekking in the Nepal Himalaya (9th Edition).

Namaste Adventure was founded by Rabi Adhikari, a 12-year veteran of organizing and leading mountain treks in the Himalayas. With the safety of our clients as a prime concern, Namaste Adventure is supported by an experienced group of expedition leaders with more than 100 years of trekking, mountaineering, and rafting experience between them, including several guides who have reached the summit of Everest and other major peaks in Nepal. Each of Namaste’s leaders is government licensed and has received mountain first aid training.

Whether it’s a peak summit, the longest downhill bike path in the world, or a gentle trek through rhododendron forests, or a combination of all three, Namaste Adventure can design a holiday of a lifetime for you. Namaste Adventure tours are all custom designed for our clients in groups ranging from two to a maximum of twenty participants. We focus on smaller groups as this puts less pressure on the environment and allows us to provide a more personal service to our customers. We craft each client’s itinerary to offer good value or money at every budget. We will not compromise on the quality of our client’s experience, and we also ensure that our local staff are paid a fair wage and have adequate equipment, clothing and insurance for their trips.

Named after the traditional Nepali and Hindi greeting which recognises the equality of all and pays honor to the sacredness and interconnectivity of everything, Namaste Adventure is committed to responsible tourism ensuring that the company, its business partners and its clients act in a way that is socially, environmentally and culturally sound on all treks. To that end, Namaste Adventure is a member of the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP). KEEP is a non-profit, non-governmental organization who aims to provide impartial and independent information to travelers, and to ensure the future ecological and cultural prosperity of Nepal through positive impact tourism and outreach product work (www.keepnepal.org). A portion of the proceeds of each trip is donated to local charities to support the sustainability of Nepal tourism.

Namaste Adventure can also offer white water rafting, kayaking and canyoning tours through it’s sister company, Paddle Nepal, which is owned and operated by members of the Nepali National Whitewater team. Trips on the water can organised independently or combined with other elements for a full multi-adventure vacation.

Prior to establishing Namaste Adventure in 2006, Rabi was instrumental in organising the Nepal segment filming for The Discovery Channel’s program “1000 Places To See Before You Die”. In addition, he has successfully organised and led treks for large charity groups including Cancer Research, Concern and Maggie’s Breast Cancer including a trip for 30 novice trekkers to Base Camp Everest.

The whole action of “Namaste” unfolds itself at three levels: mental, physical, and verbal and we challenge our clients to experience each of these levels as they join us on treks in Nepal, providing excitement, exhilaration and exploration for all trekkers as Namaste Adventure introduces them to the Himalayan Kingdoms of Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan

He has almost 10 years experience working in the trekking industry and has led many treks in the Himalayas including treks for charity groups from the UK, Norway, USA and Ireland. This invaluable experience has allowed him to put together the best holiday packages in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan
		Nim B Magar (Min) 11 time Nepalese National Whitewater Kayak Champion and captain of Nepal’s National Rafting Team, our founder and managing director has represented Nepal in the World Championships in several countries and has over 15 years experience running rivers in Nepal and around the world. “Min’s” enthusiasm for paddling is both inspiring and infectious. 		Anil Bhattarai (Climbing Guide) Everest Summiter 2005 Trekking Guide (Gov. license holder), Climbing Guide, Expedition Cook. Summit Mt. Everest 4th June 2005, Cho Oyu on 2006 Anil has led several trekking and climbing trips in the mountains in his fifteen years of working in this field. His recent summiting of Mt. Everest has made him the first member of the Brahman cast to climb Mt. Everest. He also led Jake Meyers team in the successful summit of Mt Everest 2005 making Jake Meyer the youngest British climber of Mt.Everest.
		Deepak Rai - Expedition Leader Deepak Rai is the most liked trekking and water sport expeditions leader in the industry. He also has 10 years experience in trekking and rafting and has led many successful trips for the bigger charities groups in both trek and rafting. He is happy guy, he knows how to make people laugh. His other passion is food and you can enjoy his cooking when you are on a trip with him. He loves travelling and adventure activities.
		Lalit Parajuli -Expedition leader/Trekking Guide Mr. Parajuli is one of the most liked Trekking Guides in this industry has 12 years trekking experience. He has been part of many successful trips for charity groups and has led small groups and individual trips in the Himalayas. He is jolly guy friendly. He has the ability to make people happy and laugh. . He loves to travel and enjoys adventure activities.
		Harka Lama Trekking/Cycling/Rock Climbing Guide and he used to be marathon Runner. Mr. Lama has 11 years experience working in this adventure field and has proven himself as a successful guide after leading lot's of big groups including a charity groups from UK.
		Dipen Bhattrai (Climbing and Trekking Guide) Everest Summiter 2008 Trekking/ Climbing Guide (Basic/Adv. Mountaineering Training: (NMA), Reference Another One of our "the world Highest peak Mt. Everest" summiter 2008 including several other trekking peaks in Himalayas. Mr Bhattrai has years experience working in trekking & climbing and has proven himself as a successful trekking/Climbing Guide. He is young, kind-hearted, full of energy and loves to explore new mountains.
		Indra Thapa (Rafting/Kayaking Expedition Leader) With over 12 years river guiding in Nepal and around the world as well as several exciting first descents – Indra is one of our most adventurous river guides! with national and international experiences for many years.
		Binay Lama (Rafting/Kayaking Expedition Leader) Another member of Nepal’s National Rafting Team – Binay has been paddling for about 12 years in both Nepal and overseas and has vast knowledge in trekking as well in the Himalaysa. Benai is very proud and supportive of his wife Chiza who has just joined the first Nepali Girls Kayak Club!
		Subash Panday (River Guide) River Guide, Raft guide,Safety Kayaker, Kayak Instructor (Gov. license holder) Training & Experience: SRT/WRT Training: Rescue 3 International First Aid & AR/CPR Training: RED CROSS Subash was born in a Nepali river (!) and has the experience of more than 500 trips in both Nepal and abroad. He also works for an adventure company in Norway during the off season in Nepal.
		Mr. Kamal Thapa (Rafting/Trekking Guide) Kamal is an experienced multi adventure guide with trekking, rafting and cycling all part of his repertoire. His sense of humour and bubbly personality is appreciated by many of our guests and friends.
		Mr. Manoj Shrestha (Cycling Guide) Manoj has been engaged in Cycling since eight years as a bikers guide. He is a highly experienced, professional biker's guide expert. He has led and organized innumerable cycling tour in different parts of Nepal, Tibet and India. Moreover, he is renowned as a cycling specialist of this field. He has recently developed and deployed different styles of cycling tours. His sense of humor, optimism and problem solving skills ensure that all of his clients will have a great adventure during the cycling tour.
