This journey is a combination of two treks in
very contrasting but equally fascinating regions
of the eastern Himalaya.The first with panoramic
views of Mt. Everest, the other through pristine
landscape. The journey starts in Darjeeling,
India and finishes in Bhutan.
Darjeeling
is a charming town with a wonderful mix of
people and culture. From just about anywhere
in town you can look across the valleys to
the worlds third highest mountain, Kanchenjunga
8598m.

The walk from
here is along the Singalila ridge that borders
Nepal and Sikkim. You walk through forests and
little villages and from the ridge enjoy a panoramic
view that stretches all the way from Mt. Everest
to Kangchenjunga.
The second part
of the trek in Bhutan takes you through sparsely
populated pristine valleys and across high passes
where the only people you are likely to meet
are the Yak herders. You have marvelous views
of Mt. Chomolhari on this trek.
