Royal Bardia National Park is situated in the mid far western Terai, east of the Karnali River, Nepal. The park is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the Terai. About 70% of the park is covered with forest with the balance a mixture of grassland, savannah and riverine forest.

The park provides excellent habitat for endangered animals like the rhinoceros, wild elephant, tiger, swamp deer, black buck, gharial crocodile, marsh mugger crocodile and Gangetic dolphin. Endangered birds include the Bengal florican, lesser florican, silver-eared mesia and Sarus crane. More than 30 different mammals, over 200 species

of birds, and many snakes, lizards and fish have been recorded in the park's forest, grassland and river habitats.A good number of resident and migratory birds are found in the park. It is also the home of one of the last known herds of wild elephants.

Chitwan National Park (formerly called "Royal Chitwan National Park (RCNP)" ) (CNP), covering an area of 932 km², is the oldest national park of Nepal. Established in 1973, it was granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. The RCNP is located at subtropical inner Terai lowlands of South-Central Nepal in Chitwan district, 200km away from capital Kathmandu.

The park is rich in flora and fauna, which include one of the last populations of single-horned Indian Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis) and the Bengal tiger Panthera tigris tigris. The area used to be known as "Four Mile Forest". It was a place for big game hunting and until 1951 it was a hunting reserve. At the park there is canoeing, elephant rides, and guided jungle walks.

Standerd Package (2night/3days Jungle Safari)

Day 1 : Drive from Kathmandu to the Jungle Lodge. After reaching there the Manager will brief about the activities at lodge and assign the rooms. In the late afternoon, the guests will be taken for a Jungle safari on Elephant Back so that they can penetrate deep into the jungle for viewing and Photographing wildlife or a jungle walk is organizes for the guest to experience the abundant bird life and flora and fauna of the Park. If you are lucky you may see the exclusive royal Bengal Tiger both an nature walk as well as on Elephant safari. Our well stocked bar will cater to the needs of the thirsty. A hearty mean of continental or Nepalese cuisine will be served in the evening around the campfire. Overnight.

Day 2 : Early Morning guests will be mounted on Elephant Back and taken for a Jungle safari for 2-3 hours penetrating through dense grassland to view wildlife. This grass commonly known as elephant grass is dense and grows to a height of 18-20ft. It is the favorite habitat of the rhinoceros and other mammals. After breakfast, the guests are taken to the Elephant stables where the senior Naturalists will give a talk about the habit of the elephant. Here one may witness the rare scene of the elephant at Bath. Lunch at the Lodge..

In the after noon, you may relax around the lodge or take a drive through the jungle in the Land rovers follows by a boat ride down the Narayani River where there are excellent chances of viewing the Gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles, fresh water Dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds or you may go on a nature walk or Birding with one of our Naturalists to know more about the flora of the Royal Chitwan National Park.
At the end of the boat ride, waiting land rovers will drive you back to the lodge. In the evening, a hearty and tasty dinner will be served around the campfire.Overnight the deluxe Lodge.

Day 3 : This morning another elephant safaris for 2-3 hours.
After Breakfast, the guest will be transfer by elephant/land rover and boats to waiting vehicles for their drive back to Kathmandu and Pack lunch will be provided.
