Naya Kanga & Yala Peak...
One of our shortest expeditions which offers an excellent
introduction to climbing in the Himalya. It is suitable
for the strong walker who is familiar with the use
of ice axe and crampons. The Lantang Valley is a popular
trekking region close to the Tibetan border just North
of Kathmandu. We acclimatise by climbing Yala Peak
at 5550m before moving onto our main objective Naya
Kanga, one of Nepal's most shapely
trekking peaks. The views from the summit are superb.
