Pokhara to Kathmandu Biking
Nepal's diverse terrain is a mountain biker's dream adventure come true. Mountain biking offers an environmentally sound way of exploring this magnificent country, its landscape and living heritage. Because this is a Spartan, laborious mode of travel, it is also considered the way to travel by the 'purists'. There are plenty of dirt roads and trails in Nepal to meet every mountain biker's wildest fantasy. Mountain biking is also recommended if you wish to explore the urban centers such as Pokhara and Kathmandu, plus the outskirts. Imagine, if you will, a ride through lush green rice fields, through hamlets, up and down the hillside, along the river bank, around temples, past the street roaming cattle, along the highway, you name it. Through snow, monsoon downpour, wonderful light effects, or fierce head winds, depending on place and season. The adventurous souls may plan extended trips to such exotic locales as Tibet, Namche Bazaar, and western Nepal. You could even do the entire length of Nepal across the plains. What you can or cannot do on mountain bike is limited only by your imagination.

About Trekking in Nepal
The awe-inspiring Himalayas are known to Hindus and Buddhists alike as the 'abode of the gods'. Once you leave Kathmandu and get off the beaten path, Nepal will thrill you with the spectacular scenery and culture of its countryside. You'll pass jungle-covered mountains, rhododendron forests, high yak pastures, turquoise lakes, snow capped peaks, beautiful temples, and rustic villages nestled in the mountains among shimmering, terraced rice fields. Playful children love to skip along beside you for an hour or so as you walk through the dizzy heights of their beautiful homeland. Nepal has only been open to the outside world for 50 years so there are still very few roads in Nepal and only a few are paved, but there are innumerable foot routes winding through the mountainous, yet pastoral countryside. For most Nepalese, trekking is the only way to go and they say you haven't visited Nepal until you've gone trekking! So join us for a trek of a lifetime.

About Rafting in Nepal
Nepal's dramatic Himalayan Glaciers feed some of the most challenging and beautiful Rivers in the world for White Water Rafting. Pummeling down through the worlds deepest gorges from the world's highest mountains, an abundance of warm water rivers drift the adventurer past mountain scenery, terraced villages and huge white-sand beaches for camping. Out on the river one really starts to feel that quality called "River Magic" as the rubber raft drifts, sometimes gently, sometimes madly, through wild rapids and tranquil, looking-glass passages. Around every bend in the river lies another exotic sight as you float through the culturally abundant countryside of Nepal. In the evening one can explore isolated villages, shower under warm waterfalls or watch the kayakers play boating. There is a wide choice of trips graded in difficulty on an international scale from Class 1 to 6, with class one being easy moving water and class 6 being hazardous to life. A thrilling range of excitement comes in between!
