Mt. Pumori 7,161m

Departure dates 2010/2011
:: 10 April - 04 May :: 10 October - 08 November
::

At 7161m, Pumori is a fantastic Himalayan mountain offering unrivalled views of the massive Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. This spectacular peak is situated directly opposite Everest, across the magnificent Western Cwm glacier. The approach weaves through the Khumbu valley and offers a moderately technical route, often regarded as one of Nepal’s easier 7000m peaks. One or two camps are established above Advance Base Camp and this ascent is ideal preparation for those wishing to tackle Everest or one of the more technical 8000m peaks. We have had good success on previous expeditions to Pumori.

The expedition will be led by a Local Nepal Sherpa leader with the support of assisting climbing sherpas, numbers depending on the team size. Local porters will help support our journeys into the mountains.
