Namaste...
:: Personal service
::
If you have any questions before or after you book
your trip then please contact Rabi Adhikari who is
the owner and founder of Namaste Adventure. He has
visited all the locations included in our program
of treks and will give you knowledgeable and friendly
advice.
We encourage anyone
who is interested in a trek to get in touch to discuss
their requirements and expectations. This will allow
us to make suggestions on how to get the best from
your time in Nepal. We understand that it is often
difficult to discuss plans during working hours so
do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
We encourage you to
question us freely about any aspect of your trip and
we will provide honest and knowledgeable advice in
return. We believe it is important that you have realistic
expectations of our services, for example what is
included in the cost of your holiday and any extra
expenses you might incur.
::
Small groups and trek leaders ::
We use local leaders on the treks whose responsibilities
are to ensure you have an enjoyable, safe and interesting
experience. They can share their knowledge of the
area visited and you will be more likely to meet locals
along the way!
The minimum size for
the majority of our treks is two members, with no
additional small group surcharge, and the maximum
is twenty. We prefer to have smaller groups because
this puts less pressure on the environment and so
that we can provide a more personal service to our
customers.
::
Safety
::
On every trip our top priority is the safety and security
of both our customers and trek staff. This begins
at the planning stage from designing a well thought
out itinerary to explaining in detail to our customers
what to expect on each trip and any necessary preparations
required.
All our guides are
well trained and highly experienced in leading groups
in the Himalayas, and in the rare case of an incident
occurring on the trek they can organise a rapid medical
evacuation. For our remote treks, where the nearest
village might be a long walk, we will have a satellite
phone for communication.
On some treks we provide
2 way radios to enable the guide to keep in contact
with others walking at a different pace, this prevents
the need for the whole party to walk in one large
group.
All our treks are good value for money- we provide
an excellent service at competitive prices. We do
not compromise on the quality of any aspect of the
trip and always ensure our local staff are paid a
fair wage.
::
Responsible tourism
::
We are dedicated to responsible tourism with the aim
that future travellers will see the destinations in
a similar or better state than we have been able to.
One of our main criteria
for selecting local partners and staff has been their
approach in this area, in this way the positive effects
of tourism are enforced and the local economy will
develop in a sustainable manner.
Low volume and low
impact travelling is one of the most effective ways
of preserving the fragile areas we visit and provides
more opportunities for contact with locals and for
cultural exchange.
We encourage clients
to consider offsetting the environmental effects of
international travel by contributing to Climate Care.
:: Financial
protection ::
We operate a trust account for all customers monies
paid to The Namaste Adventure to ensure it is protected
and is only released on completion of the holiday.
